How to get more LinkedIn profile views

Get your free LinkedIn positioning in 60 seconds — drop your handle:

To get more LinkedIn profile views, post useful first-person content on your personal profile at least three times a week, then make sure the profile itself works as a landing page. The post is the doorway. The profile is where people decide if you are relevant. Measure views over 90 days, not whether one post felt quiet.

I care about profile views more than vanity likes. In workshops I show about 3,166 profile views across 90 days. That is thousands of people landing on the page where I explain what I do, who I help, and how to get in touch. People are already on LinkedIn. You do not need to drive them to a website first.

Mylance is a LinkedIn content system that turns your real expertise into consistent LinkedIn content that sounds like you.

What actually drives LinkedIn profile views?

Consistent posts from your personal profile. Company-page vanity metrics are not the center of the strategy.

On the Maven workshop I said it plainly: the one number that matters to me is profile views, because it is not the content itself that gets the calls. The content sends people to the profile. That profile is a landing page for who I am.

I put the vast majority of my energy on the personal profile. If you only post in one place, post there. The company page can repost and catch a video here and there. People want to hear from people.

How often should I post to grow profile views?

Minimum three times a week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday is the default I teach.

Your followers are not seeing every post. I have about 26,000 followers, all organic, and there is no way they see every post I make every day. Even three times a week for you is closer to once a week for them. Frequency is how you give more posts a chance to be the one that pulls someone to your profile.

If you think three times a week is too much, try like 10 times a week. I am only half joking. The fear is spam. The reality is LinkedIn already throttles distribution.

What should my LinkedIn profile say once people land?

Clear picture, clear headline, niche, value, who you serve, and outcome-driven proof. Not a dusty resume.

Make sure your headline communicates niche and value add. Bullet what you have done. This is not the time to be modest. Share detailed, outcome-driven results at each role. If the content says one thing and the profile says another, you waste the click.

What kind of posts pull people to the profile?

First-person stories from real work. Not generic tips. Not AI slop.

My best post was a story from the early Uber days when Uber and Lyft launched Raleigh on the same day. About 700,000 impressions and 22 inbound. That post was not "tell me how Uber won in this market." It was a lived story. I have also written posts that got about 100 impressions and zero likes. Both can live in the same system. The quiet ones still matter because the calendar stays full.

Done is better than perfect. Hours polishing one post while the calendar goes empty is the more common failure. Empty weeks kill profile views faster than an imperfect sentence.

A simple 90-day plan to grow LinkedIn profile views

Use this before you rewrite the rules.

    1. Lock three times a week on your personal profile. Monday, Wednesday, Friday at a fixed time is enough. Our standard is 6 a.m. because it is a forcing function, not because 6 a.m. is magic.

    2. Fix the landing page: headline, About, Featured, and company link should tell one story.

    3. Ship from real source material: calls, notes, wins, mistakes. Kill hyperbole and AI-sounding words.

    4. Keep the company page as support, not the main stage.

    5. Track profile views over 90 days. Ignore mood after one quiet post.

    FAQ

How do I get more LinkedIn profile views without Premium?

Same play. Post on the personal profile, fix the landing page, measure 90 days. Premium is optional. Cadence and specificity are not.

Why did my LinkedIn profile views drop?

Usually you posted less, posted empty filler, or the profile and the content stopped matching. Restart the three-times-a-week floor before you chase algorithm myths.

Do likes matter for profile views?

Less than you think. I have posts with almost no likes and I still care about the 90-day profile view number. The goal is people landing on you, not a dopamine chart.

    What is Mylance?

Mylance is a LinkedIn content system that turns your real expertise into consistent posts that sound like you. It remembers you, starts from real source material, helps decide what to say, and learns from edits. It is not lead-gen and not outreach. The job is consistent LinkedIn content from expertise you already have.
