A LinkedIn ghostwriter for fractional CFOs who already have an offer: get found for the work you already do, in your voice.

People tell me they are going to hire a ghostwriter. Three grand a month. Sometimes five.

A proper ghostwriter is not going to be great telling your story. I hear that on calls, and then I hear the other option. ChatGPT. Otter. Whatever is on the back end. Those things stray over and over and still write like AI, no matter how much you tell them not to.

If you already have an offer, neither of those is the job.

Be known for what you already know

I ran a workshop on this. Every person on that call already had the experience. They had been coached. They had made mistakes. They did not need a post that says, hi, I am a fractional CFO, please hire me.

You need to show up from a first-person point of view. Learnings. Wins. Mistakes. At least three times a week.

Great content starts with great positioning. Then the posts have somewhere to go.

    Who I am talking to

U.S.-based fractional executives running one to five person practices. Most of the work already comes from referrals. LinkedIn is inconsistent, or it does not exist.

Independent consultants. Seated fractionals. CFO, CIO, COO, sales, ops. You can already close.

If you do not have an offer yet, this is not for you. Job seekers, skip it. Just-left-corporate, skip it.

    Positioning first. Then posts.

We get really, really narrow with your positioning and your content strategy at the beginning. Who is your customer. What do they care about. What is differentiated in you.

Then every post ladders up to a content pillar, which ladders up to that positioning.

Without that, a ghostwriter is filling a calendar. ChatGPT is filling a calendar. You are still not known for anything.

    The $3k ghostwriter

A proper ghostwriter is about $3,000 a month. Some of you are looking at five.

You get volume. You get someone who knows the format. You do not get your story. You rewrite their drafts. You paid for the writing and you are still writing.

    ChatGPT still writes like ChatGPT

People ask if this is just ChatGPT on the back end.

Otter, ChatGPT, whatever. At the end of the day those things stray, over and over, and still write like AI.

Your buyer is another operator. They can tell. They skip the generic stuff.

Do little work. Stay in your voice.

The balance is always the same. I want you to have to do such little work. I also want it to be your voice. Genuine. Not contributing to the AI slop on LinkedIn.

Done-for-you is three posts a week in your voice, from your experience and what you already know. We nail the positioning first. You review. We post. It is a forcing function. You are going to show up three times a week.

I built Mylance. Weigh that accordingly. If a draft does not sound like you, do not post it.

When I get on calls now, I almost never introduce myself. That is six years of posting the same core stuff. Not a ghostwriter. Not a prompt.

    Who this is not for

Job seekers. Just-left-corporate with no offer. Exec comms. Startup GTM.

I am talking to people who can already close, who need to get found for work they already know how to do.

    FAQ

Do I need a LinkedIn ghostwriter if I already have an offer?

Not a $3k to $5k retainer. A proper ghostwriter will not tell your story. You need to show up in your voice for buyers who would hire you for the same work.

    What should it actually do?

Lock positioning first. Write from what you already know. Keep your voice. Let you review. Post three times a week. If it adds a second job, it is the wrong product.

    Can ChatGPT do this?

It can draft. It still writes like AI, no matter how much you tell it not to.

    Does Mylance replace a ghostwriter?

It replaces the need to hire one if what you wanted was posts in your voice without writing them yourself. You still review. You do not hand your voice to a stranger.
