Bradley Jacobs

After 4.5 years building business lines at Uber, I built a $25k / mo Fractional COO business in 25 hours per week.

I got my first client through LinkedIn. They paid me $250 / hr for 25 hours per week ($25k / month). It felt too good to be true. So I wanted to see if I could replicate this success with other clients.

I wanted to keep my consulting revenue at least $25k every month, and no doubt the hardest part was keeping leads coming in the door.

So, I did 3 things every week to avoid a lull in sales:

1. I posted thought leadership on LinkedIn. I'd share stories from my time at Uber, learnings, failures, wins, and mistakes. These were interesting to my audience, AND legitimized me, helping me drum up inbound leads.

2. I did curated outbound. I'd research companies in my niche, I'd find the hiring managers, and I'd reach out to them. Even if I only got on 5 calls a month, I'd close 1-2 of those into paying clients.

3. I used my network. I'd get referrals and hop on calls. Even if those people couldn't hire me, they made introductions to others, and often I was able to convert to a new client.

Every week I had 5-6 calls and I kept the door open. I did this even when my plate was completely full so when one client dropped me, I had a full pipeline of people to reach out. I consistently made at least $25k / month. Some months were more like $45k, and some only $20k / month. Regardless, I found tried and true methods that work to acquire new clients with a repeatable system.

This program was designed from my own experience and now having helped hundreds of other Fractional Executives through Mylance.
